Cathay Cineplexes is looking for young, energetic individuals who love meeting people and working as a team. If you enjoy movies, like to work and play hard, we want you!

1) Theatre Executives
  • Supervise & train staff on cinema operations
  • Conduct daily inspection in the cinema auditoriums and ensure uniform standard, operational practices, company policies and quality standards are adhered
  • Assist the Duty Manager in day-to-day operations of the Cineplex
  • Assist in scheduling duty roster for all ground staff (PT/FT)
  • Assist in supervising & training of all ground staff (PT/FT)
  • Responsible for security of cash, ticket stub, company properties and equipment in the Cineplex
  • Involve in marketing and promotion activities
  • In charge of the ISO implementation and updates of quality procedures
  • Assist in crowd control as and when necessary

2) Administrator
  • Perform administration duties for the following areas:

    • Purchasing
      1. Keep inventory of stock of dried goods and frozen food
      2. Prepare purchase orders and requisitions under the guidance of F&B Manager

    • Accounting
      1. Check daily sales against report
      2. Record and file daily sales invoices

    • Administrative functions
      1. Handle all correspondences and filing
      2. Assist F&B Manager and Theatre Managers with administrative tasks
      3. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

3) Customer Service Officers (Full/Part-time)
  • Perform duties in box office, concession and ushering
  • Attend to patrons' requests and enquiries, and perform all related customer service functions
  • Responsible for security of cash, tickets and equipment in the Cineplex

4) Cook
  • Perform duties in kitchen
  • Prepare and cook food items for F&B concession

   - GCE 'O' level / GCE 'N' level / WSQ WPLN 3

5) Assistant Theatre Manager
  • Handle day-to-day accounting and end of shift financial matters
  • Assist the Duty Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Involve in marketing and promotion activities in Cineplex
  • Plan, coordinate, develop and conduct training on customer service, food handling, serving and suggestive selling
  • Plan the weekly duty roster; ensuring accuracy and timeliness submission to HQ for payroll
  • Assist in the ISO Implementation and updates of quality procedures
  • Ensure cleanliness of cinema lobby and others areas
  • Conduct orientation for new joiners
  • Conduct training for Theatre Executives and all ground staff

Job Requirements

  • NITEC / Diploma / Shatec with at least 2 years’ experience in hospitality industry
  • Able to perform rotating shift, weekends and public holidays

6) Chef
  • Ensure quality performance of kitchen
  • Work with Operations on preparation of F&B items during events
  • Plan and review F&B promotion menu items

Job Requirements

  • NITEC / Shatec / Diploma holders with F&B experience

The above positions are opened to Singaporeans, SPRs and Malaysians.
