Advertising & Promotions Executive

You will assist in planning and implementation of advertising strategies and promotion activities for Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, including sourcing for potential working partners and garnering of sponsorship for joint promotions. You need to work closely with other related-subsidiaries, tenants and advertising agencies on all Marcom and combined marketing activities to ensure that the marketing budget is well-managed. In addition, you will be involved in media clippings, drafting & disseminating press releases, in-house newsletters and gallery exhibitions.

To be successful in this role, you should possess tertiary education in Mass Communication / Advertising with at least 2 years of relevant experience. You should be self-starter who takes pride in organizing successful advertising and promotions activities within allocated budget. With strong communications and interpersonal skills, you will be hands on in your approach at both strategic and tactical levels.

Security Supervisor

You will supervise outsourced security officers in the mall. You will safeguard and protect the company’s assets in compliance with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedure. You will also be required to conduct routine checks within the premises. In addition, you will assist in fire safety related matters including the usage of fire equipment, managing and coordinating the security command centre.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid SIRD license with at least 1 year relevant working experience. You should be computer literate. You must be able to work on rotating shift, weekends and public holidays.

Waiter / Waitress

You will provide quality service to our customers by attending and responding to their needs promptly which includes serving food and beverages to the customers. In addition, you will be involved in table setting and clearing of dishes. You are also required to maintain the standard of quality, services and cleanliness of the restaurant.

To be successful in this role, you must possess Secondary education / WPLN Level 2 with at least 1 year relevant experience. You must be able to converse in English and be able to work split shift, weekends and public holidays.

Food Runner

You will coordinate the delivery of food from kitchen to designated work station and be involved in the preparation of beverages from bar counter. In addition, you will ensure compliance to hygiene practices and food safety regulations.

To be successful in this role, you must possess WPLN Level 2 / Secondary education with at least 1 year relevant experience. You must be able to work split shift, weekends, and public holidays.

Cathay Cineplexes Pte Ltd

Senior Manager / Manager, Business Development

Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee and manage the business development and operations of cinema management services in Dubai and other regions as assigned.

You will be involved the preparation of feasibility studies and proposals for potential new Cineplex development and assist in fees proposal and negotiation. You will also support the CEO in new project opportunities, including managing project budgets and preparing reports on projects progress and development.

In addition, you are required to maintain and improve the operations standards, while ensuring smooth daily operations, of the cinemas in Dubai and our e-gaming outlet E2Max in Singapore. You will plan and implement business plans and cost control measures for the cinema and e-gaming operations. Working closely with the marketing, and advertising and promotion teams, you will ensure that the operations team provides full support in the the execution of marketing plans. It is also your responsibility to ensure that operations follow ISO standards and lead in ISO audits yearly.

Requirements

  • At least a Degree with 5 years’ experience in business development, preferably F&B and service industries.

Customer Service Officer (Full / Part-Time)

You will attend to patrons’ requests and enquiries, and perform all related customer service functions to provide excellent support to customers. In addition, you will be responsible for security of cash, tickets and equipments in the Cineplex, as well as perform duties in box office, concession and ushering. You will also operate the automated ticketing system and assist in cinema telephone information services.

To be successful in this role, you should possess minimum GCE ’N’ level / WPLN 3 / IT / SHATEC certification. You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. You must be able to work on rotating shift, weekends and public holidays.

Projectionist (Full / Part-Time)

You will operate projection equipment as well as theatre and sound systems in the Cineplex. This includes checking of films and trouble-shooting technical problems during presentation.

To be successful in this role, you must possess Diploma in Film / Sound and Video or NTC in electrical / electronics or equivalent with 1 year related experience. You must be able to work on rotating shift, weekends and public holidays.

Senior Internal Audit Executive

You will be responsible for conducting operational, process and risk-based audit field work and report on business risk and internal control status as well as make sound recommendations to improve business controls, efficiency and compliance. You will also ensure all agreed actions arising from internal audit reports are implemented on a timely basis. In addition, you will be required to assist in the continuous strengthening of operational control environment.

You will be responsible for Accounts Payables & General Ledger for our cineplexes including issuing of payments, accrual of expenses, reversal of prepayments, creditors statement reconciliation and GIRO payments. You will work closely with Operational staff to resolve accounting related issues. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the team members.

To be successful in this role, you should possess Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with at least 3 years’ related experience in similar capacity. You must be confident, independent, meticulous and able to cope with tight deadlines.

Human Resource Executive

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for performing the full lifecycle recruiting for junior and mid-level positions. This involves assessing candidates’ applications, screening, interviewing, tracking candidates’ progress and job offers. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and execute timely plans to meet the staffing needs. In addition, you will manage the work pass application process to bring on board the selected candidates and for renewal of all work passes. Other duties include managing the staff confirmation process, the HRIS system and general staff welfare.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Degree or Diploma in Human Resource or Business Administration with at least 3 years relevant HR experience.
