Tang possesses a golden Buddha figurine which gangsters are trying to steal. It turns out that the figurine contains a new kind of nuclear explosive. Luo, Tang and the police must now prevent the figurine from falling into the wrong hands.

the countryside. Knowing that the Qi siblings are on a mission to avenge the death of their parents, Fang offers to help. In a struggle with Jiao's men, Fang's clothes are torn, revealing a piece of jade worn around his neck. This identifies him as the long lost son of Jiao.

The world famous diamond 'Firebird' is stolen at a jewelry exhibition. Upon arriving in Hong Kong, Mary discovers the dying Yang Jun in the backseat of her taxi. She is then pursued by gangsters and is rescued by Hua Zhiwei. Together with the police, they set out to look for the diamond. Both Mary and Zhiwei eventually find the diamond and discover the true identity of the mastermind behind the robbery. As it turns out, Mary and Zhiwei are also not who they have presented themselves to be.

"The Bear Eye Ruby", a fabulous gem on display in Hong Kong from Japan is stolen by Xianna, a member of the Green Dragon Gang. Wanting the gem for herself, she sends out rumours that the Wulong Gang has stolen the gem from her. Sima Long, the head of the Wulong Gang, hopes to assist police in getting rid of his rival gang. Meanwhile the leader of Green Dragon Gang, believing in Xianna's words, sends Assassin Liqing on a mission to kill Sima and retrieve the stolen gem.

Upon learning that Meizhi's fiancé is the son of his father's killer, Li realises that his love for Meizhi has no future and decides to leave the village.
