Jiaji breaks into the room and engages in a life and death fight with a mysterious figure. By then, the police has arrived and Jiaji is told that Miss He is actually Miss Liang. Mr and Mrs He have never been the owners of the mansion and their aim is to murder and swindle. Miss Liang is praised for solving this complicated case with her wit and bravery.

Jianhua steals laundered money from Guan to finance his getaway with Meiyu. Unfortunately, he runs into Guoqiang, who has no choice but to arrest him. Fearing that Jianhua may leak vital information about the laundered money to the police, Guan plans to rescue and then silence him later.

David, a famous writer of detective stories, is having an affair with his secretary Lily. David's manager Charlie tells Annie that her husband may kill her for her wealth and suggests killing David. He devices a perfect plan and shoots David. When the police arrives, the body is nowhere to be found. While Charlie and Annie are discussing the mysterious disappearance of the body, Lily walks in and demands five million dollars from Annie to buy her silence. She claims that she possesses a tape recording of their murder plan.
