18 March 2007
Cathay Cineplex Kompleks Bukit Jambul will be leaving behind a decade of fond memories as we officially close our doors on Monday, 26 March 2007 at 5pm. In view of the changing demographics in the vicinity, the decision was undertaken inline with the company’s plans to consolidate all services under one roof at Prangin Mall. At the same time, Cathay will continue to look for expansion opportunities when suitable locations are available. .
Prangin Mall Facelift
Hence, we are delighted to announce that our facelift for Cathay Cineplex Prangin Mall will be completed this May. With an additional 4 spanking new halls, Cathay Cineplex Prangin Mall is scheduled to open in time for the summer blockbuster releases. Cathay Cineplexes Prangin Mall is the only cinema awarded with the ISO 9002 certification. With 4 more screens, Cathay Cineplexes Prangin Mall will feature 8 halls with a total of 1,478 seats.
In keeping with the company’s philosophy, Cathay Cineplexes Prangin Mall will endeavour to continue to provide quality customer service and a world-class experience in cinema entertainment.
