We Did It Again!

For the second year running, hangout @ mt emily wins the Singapore Tourism Awards Best Accomodation Experience (Standard category). And we are proud of it !

Opened in April 2004, which makes the hotel just 3, the hangout philosophy is all about affordable lodgings without the frills and yet not compromising on cleanliness, comfort and safety.

In other words, don’t expect to be mollycoddled like in a five star accommodation or even in-room coffee / tea making facilities, mini-fridge, hair-dryers, room telephones, TVs, room service or laundry service. It is all about No Frills - Just Fun!

We attribute the win to our hotel staff, kudos to them. They help make the difference. The young (and some not so young) hangout team exude a warmth and friendliness that just comes naturally. They love meeting people, taking care of them, they multi-task, they watch out for the safety and well-being of guests and they make sure that the hangout home-away-from-home experience is truly felt.

For those who prefer to set their own agenda and spend less, then hangout @ mt emily is the hotel for them because it is small enough to encourage intimacy and interaction between fellow travellers yet large enough to afford one's own privacy.

The hotel and the rooms can be described as affordably stylish. Little touches make this hotel more intimate, a cross between a home-away-from-home and a hotel with hip and trendy décor.

The surrounding Mt Emily Park offers a tranquil atmosphere yet the hotel is located well within the heart of Singapore with buses and the MRT within 5 minutes walk.
