The Next Reel International Film Festival at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts is the oldest international film festival of its kind in the United States. During the weeklong festival, young filmmakers compete for almost $30,000 in cash prizes and awards. This year, Next Reel takes place in Singapore in celebration with the official opening of Tisch School of the Arts Asia, the school’s first campus outside of New York. The festival will take place from 7th – 13th October, 2007. FREE daily screenings of over 60 films from over 20 countries across six continents will be shown at The Cathay Cineplex between 9th and 12th October. Closing night ceremonies, featuring the top three winning films from the festival, will take place on Saturday 13th October at 5pm at The Cathay Cineplex.

· Tickets are available for collection via the Box Office, Levels 1 & 5, The Cathay Cineplex, 2 Handy Road.
· Free Seating applies.
· All film titles under the NEXT REEL International Film Festival are grouped under the respective "Program Titles ".
