Reel Cinemas at The Dubai Mall recently opened its doors to movie-goers in Dubai, UAE. The 22-screen multiplex is the largest cinema in the region, boasting THX-certified screens, state-of-the-art cinema sound and projection, ergonomically-designed seats, four luxurious Platinum Movie Suites, as well as The Picturehouse – UAE’s first cinema hall that exclusively screens critically-acclaimed arthouse movies and film festival titles.
Located on Level 2 of The Dubai Mall, Reel Cinemas is the product of a joint venture between Cathay Organisation Holdings Ltd and Dubai’s Emaar Retail LLC. The flagship 22-screen Reel Cinemas at The Dubai Mall is the first megaplex developed and operated by the venture, and will soon be followed by a boutique 6-screen Reel Cinemas at Dubai Marina Mall.
